Rate : Normally we use Next Day UK Mainland standard rate.  Please allow two to three working days for delivery.

What happens when the recipient is not in?

YODEL Business services have one delivery attempt only and all residential services have up to three delivery attempts before being held at a local depot. Parcels sent with Yodel may be left with a neighbour where appropriate. Further delivery attempts and returns will incur additional charges.

Parcelforce Business services and residential services have two delivery attempts before being held at a local depot or Post Office for 16 days. Parcels sent with Parcelforce may be left with a neighbour where appropriate. Further delivery attempts and returns will incur additional charges.

City Link Business services and residential services have two delivery attempts before being held at a local depot for five days. Parcels sent with City Link may be left with a neighbour where appropriate. Further delivery attempts and returns will incur additional charges.

What are the size & weight restrictions on a parcel?

YODEL Maximum length 1.5m, Maximum weight 30kg, Maximum volume of 0.22 cubic metres.

Parcelforce Maximum length 1.2m. Maximum weight 30kg. Maximum combined length and girth of 3m.

Parcelforce Large Maximum length 2.5m. Maximum weight 30kg. Maximum combined length and girth of 5m.

City Link Maximum length 2m. Maximum weight 30kg. Maximum volumetric weight of 30kg.

How is volumetric weights, length and girth calculated?

Parcelforce maximum combined length and girth is calculated by 'length + width + width + depth + depth'

City Link maximum volumetric weight is calculated by 'length x width x height divide by 5000'

Do you post to Northern Ireland/BT postcodes?

Yes we do but some postcodes may incur a 24hr delay. Please also note that services to Northern Ireland may take 48hrs not 24hrs.
